Abstract :

This paper explores the implications of cloud computing technology on Indian agriculture. Through a mixed-methods approach, including qualitative interviews and quantitative analysis, it investigates how cloud computing is shaping agricultural practices in India. Findings suggest that cloud computing offers significant advantages, including improved access to agricultural information, real-time monitoring of crops and weather conditions, enhanced decision-making, and cost efficiencies. However, challenges such as data privacy concerns, infrastructure limitations, and digital literacy among farmers exist. The study recommends investment in rural infrastructure, capacity building for farmers, development of user-friendly applications, and regulatory frameworks to maximize cloud computing benefits. Overall, this research contributes to understanding how cloud computing can address challenges in Indian agriculture and promote sustainable development.
