Title : A Comparative Study Of Effectiveness Of Kinesio Taping Vs Rigid Taping For Grade 1 Slap Lesion In Shoulder Joint

Abstract :
Objective: To investigate the effectiveness of kinesio taping in grade 1 SLAP lesion. Sampling: After screening of inclusion and exclusion criteria the subjects were selected randomly and assigned in 2 groups. Group A: Treated with kinesio taping Group B: Treated with rigid taping Each group have 50 participants Intervention: All groups received routine care management for 3 days/week for 18 sessions. Outcome measures (Shoulder pain and Disability Index—SPADI) were recorded before treatment, after 2 weeks, 4 weeks, and 6 weeks of treatment in both groups. Result and Conclusion: The result of study showed that significant improvement in group A. So it’s concluded that kinesio taping was comparatively effective in reducing the issues arising fromgrade 1 SLAP lesion.
